Dear Galaxy Online Player,

First of all, please allow us to show our gratitude for your continued
support for Galaxy Online! Since the Closed Beta test started in
February of 2009, Galaxy Online has been very popular with all manner
of players for its fun features. Nevertheless, the march of progress
continues, and with the success of Galaxy Online II, we will soon be
closing down Galaxy Online permanently. This includes all servers and
services offered for Galaxy Online.

The closing of the Galaxy Online and its servers will be done slowly,
starting on July 29th EDT (GMT-4).

We hope you will continue to support us by playing Galaxy Online II,
which is enjoying immense success on Facebook and in client-based
form. We are especially proud of the recent debut of the browser-based
version of Galaxy Online II ( http://galaxy.igg.com/index.php) which
just opened on June 22nd. We invite you to come give the sequel a
shot, and we think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.

The following details the schedule we will be using for the shutdown
of Galaxy Online.
1. At 5:00am EDT (GMT-4) on August 5th, we will remove all
functionality for activating Galaxy Online and purchasing Galaxy
Online Mall Points.
2. At 5:00am EDT (GMT-4) on August 25th, we will close all Galaxy
Online servers and the official forum permanently. At 5:00am EDT
(GMT-4) on September 26th, the related mail services, Live Support and
any other customer services will be closed.
3. At 5:00am EDT (GMT-4) on August 25th, we will release a new webpage
specifically for transferring Galaxy Online Mall Points into Galaxy
Online II. Each player will receive 100 additional Galaxy Online II
Mall Points when transferring Galaxy Online Mall Points into Galaxy
Online II.
4. At 5:00am EDT (GMT-4) on September 26th, we will close the page for
transferring Galaxy Online Mall Points into Galaxy Online II.
Note: On the Galaxy Online Mall Points exchange page, players will
also be able to sign up for Galaxy Online II and claim an exclusive
Newbie Pack.

2D Simulation

How to fight?
Mark the opponent by clicking or using the space bar until it is
marked in red. Then you are able to fire your weapons by using the
keys 1-6 (or clicking on them with the mouse).
The keys 1-3 contain the corresponding laser and the keys 4-6 the rockets.

How to repair or accept/complete quests during the game?
The menu window is open in the background (as a new window or tab), if
not you are able to open it with a click onto "Hangar". If you have
been destroyed you need to repair yourself. You are able to do that at
the Hangar Overview or directly in the game by clicking the "repair"
button which is going to be shown then. A reparation costs 100
Thorium. Quests are also processed in the menu window.

Sector change and Sector build up
You are able to jump between the sectors with the help of the jump
gates (they are shown as white circles on the mini map). The sectors
are build up that you have the stronger opponents the farer you get to
the centre. The further you are from the centre the easier the
opponents get. For this reason the starting sector (space station) is
at the edge of the system.

Radioactivity symbol
If the radioactivity symbol appears you are too close to the end of
the map. There the radiation is so high that it damages the structure
of your ship. Get away as fast as possible or your ship will be
destroyed. A red arrow shows you the best direction to fly.

Cargo space is full
There only helps to sell or refine your ores at the trade. By refining
the ores you need less place in the space ship.

Where do I find which opponents?
The quests are following each other. The first quests are for the most
part going to be in your start map and the bordering map. During the
game play you are going to get nearer to the centre map and the
opponents are also going to get stronger. Also, all maps are different
if they are on the same level in the overview.

Where to find which ores?
Iron: Map 1,2 / 6,7 / 11,12
Silicon: Map 2,3,4 / 7,8,9 / 12,13,14
Iridium: Map 3,4,5 / 8,9,10 / 13,14,15
Titanium: Map 5,10,15,16 This means that you are able to find titanium
around the centre and the less precious ores equidistant to each other
from the central map.

Welcome to Evony. This article will help get you started in a new and
exciting experience.

When you first begin, the Routine Quest will give you an idea of where
your efforts are best directed. If you are new to Evony, the quest
will help give you a boost in the beginning by rewarding your efforts
with extra building materials, population and gold. New players should

stick to this quest and your time spent waiting on resources will be
greatly lessened, but don't be afraid to branch out and try new things
if you have extra resources.

What follows is a list of important things every Evony player should
know. Spend a few minutes here and learn the basics:

1. Every player enjoys a 7-day Beginner's Protection when they first
create their account. During this time, you will be free from attack
by other players. Of course, you can't attack them either. Any time
during the period, you may end the Protection by upgrading your Town
Hall to level 5. Don't do this unless you are ready for war!

2. When you first enter Evony, you will see building sites in your
town and resources fields around your city. To build on these fields,
simply click on an empty site and select what you wish to build from
the menu. If you're not sure what to build, consult the Routine Quest.

3. To upgrade a building, simply click the building you wish to
upgrade and hit the upgrade button. Clicking a building also allows
you to use the building's features, like creating troops, researching
and recruiting heroes.

4. The administrative options for your city can be accessed at your
Town Hall. You can rename your city, adjust the tax rate, offer
comfort to the population or levy them for materials and gold as well
as appoint a mayor. The Routine Quest 鈥� Administration will take you
through many of these operations.

5. Once you accomplish the objectives of a quest, you will see a
number appear next to the Quest icon at the bottom of your screen.
Click it and find the checked off quest and select Get Award. Some
main quests have multiple sub-quests, so to complete one of these
select a checked main quest and then find the appropriate sub-quest in
the list below and Get Award. If you need more help, check out the
Quest Guide or head over to the forums for tips from other players.

6. Need gold? Raise your population by building and upgrading cottages
and raise your tax rate a bit. Just remember that the higher your tax
rate, the lower your population will be, possibly leaving you without
enough workers for your resource fields or even causing grievances in
the populace. Try to strike a balance between tax revenue and
population.

7. There are 2 ways to earn additional resources. First, build and
upgrade your farms, sawmills, mines and quarries. Each upgrade
increases production, as long as you have enough population to man
them. Second, send your armies into the field to conquer nearby
valleys. Many valleys that are not Flats will have a resources bonus
attached to them. For instance, conquering a Forest will increase your
lumber production and conquering a Hill will increase your Iron
production. Remember that the higher level the valley is, the bigger
the bonus you will get, but the heavier it will be defended. Be sure
to scout them out before sending troops in, so you know what you're
getting into.

Note: When troops are outside your cities, they require twice as much
food to sustain them as when they are garrisoned in a city, so don't
leave them camped outside your town unless absolutely necessary.

8. To train troops, you need a Barracks. More advanced troops require
technologies from your academies and take longer to train, as well as
requiring more resources. They may also require an upgraded Barracks.

9. Need to leave the game? No worries. Your workers will continue
harvesting resources while you are away and you will have that much
more to spend when you return.

10. Heroes are an important part of city. Armies require a hero to
lead them and will benefit from a heroes attributes, while appointing
a hero as mayor of your city will increase production, based on the
heroes attributes. Heroes are recruited from your city's Inn and they
reside in your Feasting Hall once recruited. Remember that heroes must
be paid a salary in gold, and if your Feasting Hall is full you wont
be able to recruit additional heroes or have heroes sent from other
cities unless you upgrade your Feasting Hall.

11. Ready to expand your territory and build a new city? The higher
your title, the more cities you can control. To build a second city,
you must reach the title of Knight. To raise your title, you'll need
medals which you can earn in battle, like when you attack a valley.
Once you are a Knight, you'll need 250 workers (trained at the
Barracks) along with 10,000 of every resource, including gold. Then
send your army to conquer a Flat of your liking, and once it is yours,
click the Flat and select Build City. Now grab a cup of coffee, and
when you return, you'll have a brand new city under your command!

If you ever feel confused or overwhelmed with what to do, return to
the Routine Quest. It will help you in the initial phases of Evony.

Terrans - Humans are the masters of improvesation. Quickly adapting to
their surroundings, the Terrans have copied many designs from the more
advanced Titans. Terrans are motivated to constantly expand their
reach by extracting more and more resources from asteroids, debris
fields, and planets. The balanced, jack-of-all-trades faction.
Titans - The oldest intelligent race in the known galaxy. Titans were
exploring space while humans still lived in caves. They use their
advanced technologies to defend themselves and their interests, only
resorting to war as a last resort. Recommended by defensive players.

OGame is a text-based, resource-management and space-war themed
massively multiplayer online browser game with over two million
accounts.[1] OGame was created in 2000 and is produced and maintained
by Gameforge AG.[2][3]. OGame is available in multiple languages, and
different nationalities have their own communities. The game does not
differ between the nationality communities except in rare cases.
Players are generally informed of news and other things such as
changes in rules or new versions through the official forums [4].

As of 10 February 2010 (2010 -02-10)[update], OGame.org has a total of
49 universes, including eight universes using the new redesign[5].
More are being added periodically. The Ogame prOgame universe
(Universe 35) has been discontinued as an exclusive for paying
members, so anyone may now sign up for it.

Gameplay
All OGame universes consist of three classifications: galaxies,
systems, and planet slots. All universes have 9 galaxies, each with
499 systems, which have 15 planet slots. Sending fleets between
different galaxies takes the longest time, whereas sending a fleet
within the same system takes the least time.

Each player starts with one planet at a randomly assigned coordinate
between slots 4 and 12, in a random system and galaxy. The first
planet always consists of 163 fields, which determine how many
building upgrades can be built on the planet, regardless of the slot
in the player's system. The player's empire can consist of up to 9
planets in any unoccupied planet slot. All construction, research, and
missions are performed and launched from a planet or moon. Development
is done through using three resources: metal, crystal, and deuterium,
and also energy and dark matter. There are different ways to obtain
these resources, including mining, trading, and raiding (see Combat
below). Players are ranked according to their points, with one point
awarded for every one thousand resource units invested in a
construction, research, ships, or defense. No points are given for
unspent resources.

Unlike many other real-time strategy games, OGame does not give the
player constant control of his or her spacecraft. Instead, the player
sends the ship(s) to a location (using the game's coordinate system)
and what happens when the fleet arrives is beyond the player's
control; in OGame, combat is resolved when fleets and/or defenses
meet. The combat takes place instantly and consists of 1 to 6 rounds.
Fleet attacks are usually aimed to obtain other player's resources,
which is called raiding, although fleet attacks can also be done to
destroy an opponent's fleet and collect the debris field created from
the battle. Defenses are built to defend a planet against an attacking
enemy fleet.

[edit] Alliances
An alliance is a group of players who have banded together and is
mostly used for solidarity purposes. Alliances are created for players
to protect each other from attacks, join together to raid other
planets, or to promote free trade amongst members. Members of an
alliance can use the ACS (Alliance Combat System), available in some
universes, to synchronize fleet movements and missions with members of
the same alliance and temporarily deploy a fleet on an ally's planet.

Players can hire a merchant using dark matter to trade one resource
type for another. The amount of resources traded is limited to the
amount of free space in one's storage buildings and the amount of dark
matter the player has.

OGame offers 4 different Officers and a Commander, each costs a set
amount of Dark Matter to 'hire' for either 1 week or 3 months. The
names of the four different officers are the Engineer, the Geologist,
the Technocrat and the Fleet Admiral. Each one improves certain
elements of chance or resource production.

There are three main resources: Metal, Crystal and Deuterium as well
as Dark Matter.

The three main resources (Metal, Crystal, Deuterium) can be created
via mines. There are separate mines for each resource which can be
upgraded to produce the resources faster. These resources are used for
making buildings, ships, defenses and for researching technology. To
run the mines, energy is needed. Energy is produced by making solar
plant or a fusion reactor (this converts a percentage of deuterium
created, into energy) these buildings can also be upgraded to produce
more energy.

Dark Matter, however, cannot be created. Fleets can be sent out on on
expeditions to search for it. It can also be bought with real money.
Dark Matter is used to "call a trader" who trades the main three
resources, or to buy an officer.

Atlantica Online is a free to play 3D massively multiplayer online
role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by NDOORS Corporation. The
international English version, available worldwide, is distributed by
the US subsidiary company NDOORS Interactive, Inc.[1]. A closed beta

Gameplay

A player and his mercenaries accompanied by two groups of bewitched
mobs attacking an enemy mob group.The game features a persistent world
populated by player-generated characters and NPCs. The player can
choose from nine different classes and customize their appearance.
Players do not fight with the main character alone; each player can
recruit additional fighters, up to the maximum of eight mercenaries
(and one main) on the field at any given time. Players can store
additional mercenaries in mercenary rooms.

In addition to their battle skills, all players may pursue a number of
different crafting abilities.

The game design puts strong emphasis on the concept of guilds. Guilds
can control the various towns on the game map. Strong guilds can found
nations and wage war on one another.

Battle in Atlantica Online is rather unusual for the genre as it is
turn-based. Representations of hostile parties wander around the
landscape; if a player touches such a representation, his/her party
and the enemy party are transferred to a separate battlefield similar
in fashion to battles in console role playing games and remain there
until the battle is resolved. The battle system also features a time
limit for a player to make their move, assuring that there won't be
any type of player griefing during player vs player combat.

The game's battle system is unusual for its genre in that it uses a
turn-based system.

When a player character and an enemy character come into contact with
each other on the game map, both parties are transported into a
miniature instance where the battle takes place. During battle other
players's group and other monster groups may join in to a maximum of
three groups on each side.

In battle, the characters of each party are positioned on a 3x3 grid.
The positioning of each mercenary and the main character is determined
by the player outside of battle. However, it is possible to modify the
positioning by moving the characters around during his/her turn.

During a monster/player group's turn, up to five of the group members
may perform an action.

The game features several kinds of PvP combat:

Challenge: Players can challenge anyone to a duel, but must wager at
the minimum 100 gold. The winner will receive the prize.
Free League: Organized leagues, scheduled throughout the day, with
in-game coins called Atlantis coins/coin shards to be won. For this
type of PvP, a ladder is present and Fame can be earned to increase
one's Rank.
Colosseum League: A modified version of Free League that limits the
effectiveness of levels and gear to provide a different PvP
experience.
Weekly Championship: These are held 2 times on Saturday. Reward for
first place is a 7 days duration Ghost Rider and 30 Platinum Atlantis
Coins.
Grand Championship: This tournament is held twice a week on Sunday and
is a bridge between all the servers, where players are able to take
part in the Grand Championship. First place for winning the Grand
Championship is the Barbarian Lord's Black Tiger and 45 Platinum
Atlantis Coins.
War: Wars can be declared from one nation to another. Currently this
is the only way to have PvP combat in greater scale than 1v1. The max
however, is 3v3 per battle. During war pk battles, the normal bonus
for other 3 methods of PvP does not apply. If a player loses a fight
in the war, they will drop one of their equipment items.

Mobs either roam around freely in designated areas of the world map or
in dungeons. The majority of the dungeons are open dungeons accessible
by all players of sufficient level. They are primarily used for
completing the main quest line.

The game also features several kinds of instanced and timed PvE
dungeons. If successful, players receive rewards in addition to the
loot they obtained.

Independent: These can be completed solo or in up to a party of 3, and
require a certain level to enter. Rewards include various equipment.
Guild: These are completed with a member's guild. Difficulty varies
depending on the dungeon. Completion rewards also vary and are
directly sent to the guild leader.
Nation: These are currently the most difficult dungeons to complete
since difficulty of the mobs necessitates several parties of high
level players, also requiring a lot of organization prior and
coordination during the dungeon. Teams are often organized by level
and assigned specific roles such as "heavy offense" or defense.
Completion of these dungeons are announced to the entire server.
Completion rewards are directly sent to the nation leader, and include
rare and thus expensive items.
Squad: These include the Coyote Valley and the Haunted Tatami
dungeons. Rewards scale according to the number of monsters killed
within a set period of time.
Record times for Independent, Guild, and Nation dungeons are recorded
in the game's Hall of Fame.

Training Center: Training Centers are completed by guilds. They
consist of dozens of timed rounds against progressively more difficult
mobs. Based on their performance, guilds are rated and given Training
Center points for completing Training Centers.

The world of Atlantica Online features real world locations mixed with
mythological and fantasy elements. Countries like Germany and China
are represented, with cities like Munich, Moscow, and Sapporo being
featured as cities where one can visit. Though the locations on the
map feature climates similar to their real world counterparts, the
architecture is often a generic recreation of well known structure
types, such as the cities in Eastern Europe and Japan. Rome also takes
on a big role as a real world location, resembling the ancient city of
Rome as is well known from its period of conquest as the Roman Empire.
Any player above level 20 can instantly teleport to Rome with the
necessary percentage of Will available. While in Rome players can
check out the Bazaar, store items at a warehouse, and fight in PvP
competitions held daily and weekly. There are also a few NPC's
available only in Rome.

The locations are based on real world locations, but are often
geographically out of place and heavily altered for effect. Most of
the civilizations represented are anachronistic—Rome is set in the
Holy Roman Empire, while Great Britain is independent, the Ottoman
Empire reigns in Turkey, Southeast Asia resembles ancient Indian
kingdoms before Western colonization and Islamic influence, and North
America is caught up in the Industrial Revolution.

On December 18, 2008, the North American continent was added, which
features New York as a new explorable city and the United States and
Mexico as explorable countries. These contain a few dungeons, but
greatly expand the map in Atlantica. Developers have also mentioned
the possibility of adding the continents of the Southern Hemisphere,
excluding Antarctica.

Atlantica's publisher and developer, NDOORS Interactive, regularly
releases new content updates. For the most part, the International
servers have received updates approximately one to one-and-a-half
months after the Korean servers. Additionally, while Korean servers
receive many, smaller updates, NDOORS usually combines the updates
into fewer, but larger releases for the International servers. Updates
usually include adding new dungeons, quests, NPCs, skills,
mercenaries, outfits, equipment, mounts, and community features while
also adjusting the existing game experience such as improving PvP
balance and the rate of obtaining experience points.

Terminator Salvation is a 2009 American science fiction action film

War Rock (Korean: 워록) (also commonly spelled as WarRock) is a
multiplayer first-person shooter made by the South Korean company,
Dream Execution. The game is distributed as a Free2Play, a common form
of freeware EULA and available through online downloading. Outside of
the Far East, the game is hosted by K2Network, who service the game
for both Europe and North America. K2Network also supports community
input, as it has a community account known as GamersFirst for online
transactions.

Though the game can be downloaded free of charge, WarRock requires
online registration. The retail version came with additional features.
The game is set in the midst of a nuclear war in the fictional
Republic of Derbaran. Players select between the two teams and engage
in battles using 20th and 21st century military equipment, including a
large assortment of infantry weapons and vehicles.[1][2]

War Rock games are divided into three modes of play: Close Quarters
Combat, Urban Ops and Battle Group.[3] These differ in the size of the
map, the number of respawns permitted and the availability of
vehicles, with CQC being focused on small-scale infantry missions and
Battle Group involving huge battlefields with some boats, humvees,
helicopters, and jet aircraft.[3] Objectives in the different game
modes include capturing and defending key positions on the map,
planting explosives on enemy targets, accumulating points in a team

Although War Rock is a free game, players can purchase a "Premium".
Purchasing a Premium will grant a preset EXP Boost every game, ability

The game features deathmatch-based multiplayer modes, all of which
feature objectives that must be completed in order for teams to win.
Sessions end either when a team has reached a preset number of points,
or the allotted time expires in which case the team with the most

Black List is a secretive mercenary organization that advocates the use of violence to halt the spread of corporate capitalism and globalization. They claim that current world powers have used aggressive foreign policy to maintain modern empires, and will use any means necessary to combat their expansion.

The Black List organization operates outside of any legal systems, and as a result its origins have remained unknown. Indeed, no one has ever come close to discovering the identities of its leaders, it's only known leader is a former SAS operator only known as "Ghost". Initially, they were made up of militant groups from war torn nations. However, recent outrage against global and domestic economic inequality has served to strengthen the ranks of Black List, as more and more embittered former special operations agents have joined the organization.

While calling themselves freedom fighters for all oppressed peoples of third world nations, Black List has been a true thorn in the side of globalization efforts by capitalist governments. Although serving the ambitions of impoverished nations does not net them great profit, they are still able to fund operations through illegal channels and private investors.

The label of freedom fighters is not accepted by their opponents, who believe Black List are nothing more than a terrorist outfit bent on destroying democratic ideals. This is a valid concern, as their efforts have contributed to an increasingly violent world.

Global Risk is a giant private military corporation without national identity.It is composed of former members of special operations forces and its stated aim is to impose order in an increasingly chaotic world by any means necessary.

Sir Alex Roid and General Edward Wolfe, retired SAS members of the British Army, founded the company after becoming disillusioned with the inefficiency of their government’s actions to curb widespread terrorism. At this point, Global Risk was a relatively small operation with the two founders also participating in missions themselves. After General Wolfe was killed in a vicious battle off the west coast of South Africa, Sir Roid was determined to further expand Global Risk’s military superiority. Roid then partnered with Australian-born American businessman and weapons manufacturer, Michael Norman. Together these men quickly elevated Global Risk to an entity with major influence in international affairs.

Global Risk relies on their military prowess and corporate expertise to further solidify their status as the keepers of global order. They have adhered to these principles, becoming the single most successful weapon in the war against terrorism and anarchy in modern society.

While Global Risk is allegedly serving the agenda of democratic world governments, some say they are using them to gain further prestige and economic superiority. They have, in fact, been able to achieve the level of a almost-world power.

CrossFire features several game modes, each with unique maps and rules.[4]

Team Deathmatch: Players must work together as a team to kill the enemies a designated number of times, or get more kills in a designated time limit. Players respawn after death.

Search & Destroy: The Black List attempts to destroy designated points with C4, or destroy all the Global Risk players, while the GR team must destroy all Black List players before the bomb is planted (If the bomb is planted it can still be disarmed for a GR victory).

Elimination mode/Wipe Out mode: Similar to team death match only players don't respawn when killed, and it runs on a basis of rounds instead of kills or a time limit. In some maps, players start only with their melee weapons and must pick up guns pre-set in the map.

Ghost Mode: All Black List terrorists are cloaked in invisibility (while not moving), and are only armed with melee weapons, while all Global Risk mercenaries are fully visible, but can use all available weapons. The Black List must use stealth to blow up the target with C4 to win, while the Global Risk mercenaries must defend the target and shoot down any ghosts. Global Risk can locate invisible Black List when in their vicinity as they emit a heavy breathing sound, footsteps and ghosts also become significantly visible while moving.

Special Mode: A mode that is fully manipulated by the player.

Free for All: A mode where there is no teams with optional weapon restrictions. Players constantly respawn at different locations. The round ends when a player reaches the kill quota for the match or the timer runs out.

Pandemic Mode/Mutation Mode*[5] 1-2 players are infected and turned into mutants 20 seconds into the round, depending on how many players are in the game, the number of infected mutant changes. An infected mutant will begin with 4000-6000 HP. When a person is hit or attacked by a mutant, they become a mutant with 2000 HP. When the time is up or all mutants are dead, the soldiers win. If all the soldiers become mutant, the mutants win. Mutants are flung backwards when shot.

Mutation Mode for the US, Canada and UK was released on February 12th[6] and differs slightly from the other versions.Instead of the default "Red Zombie" (Dread, which must be bought), players start with the "Green Zombie" (Slug) which must be bought on other versions. Crossfire made a new character in April called a Maiden . She must be bought with ZP and has stealth technology which was stolen from Black List during RF-03 when Black List lost to Global Risk.

Bounty Mode See Counter-strike

Escape Mode The newest game mode, one team must "escape" through a portal while the other team tries to prevent them. There are walls and doors that can be destroyed to make the escaping teams job easier, at half time the teams switch sides.

Interface Icons
The best way to succeed in Lore is to know your surroundings. And in
this case, know your Interface surroundings! You will be staring at
the screen for a pretty long time, so it is good to know exactly what
every button, icon, and super-long green-and-purple bar means!

Inventory
This button will open up your player's inventory where all your
awesome loot is stored. Within the inventory you can browse your
items, enhance gear, equip equipables, or trash unwanted items.

Temporary Inventory
Holds your quest items which will be cleared when you log out or are
disconnected. Or turn them in for quest awards!

Options
The options menu allows players to toggle: Whispers, Party Invites,
Friend Invites, Helm Display, Cape Display, Pet Display, Visual
Quality, and Sound. Players can also manage their Friends List, Ignore
List and see upcoming events from our 'News' button.

The Book of Lore
The Book of Lore is the player's Number 1 go-to-spot for Character,
Achievement, Badge and Quest information. This rare and magical book
actually tracks the player's progress throughout the world of Lore.

House
Not a homeowner yet? In AdventureQuest Worlds you can be… without a
mortgage! Purchase or visit your home by clicking on the House button.

Map
Visit your map often since the world of Lore is constantly being
explored and expanding. You can instantly travel to any zone available
with a simple click of the mouse; no flight fee or passport required.

Quest
Every adventurer tracks down what quests they are on. Here is where
you will find that list, mind you the list will reset upon each visit
to Lore, so logging out our getting disconnected will erase the your
lists of quests.

Character Panel
If beating down monsters isn't enough, you can click this button to
see just how strong you really are! The Character Panel has
information about your character's Class and Stats.

Rest
After a long tough fight you may find yourself drained. Click this
button to regain your health and mana over a period of time. Powerful
adventurers know that they should rest after every battle.

Walking/Movement
In AQWorlds, you will be using your mouse to move about the screen.
Click on the ground and your character will walk there.
If you see a gold arrow on the ground, it is a hint that you can walk
to another room. Silver arrows indicate that it will load a whole new
area.

Using the Map
Click the map button in the lower right of your screen to access the
world map. It is pretty big (… and we are building the world bigger as
you are reading this.)
Click on a location to teleport there immediately. As you complete
quests, new areas will unlock!

Chat Functions
Chat with your friends in real-time while taking down the next Lord of
Chaos or just hanging out in your house! Our chat features a smart
filter that forbids the use of inappropriate language and our
Moglin-safe serves allow for canned-chat privileges. Talk with fellow
adventurers all over the globe and express yourself with the aid of
many emotes, too!

This is your personal assistant speaking. Now don't be shy, you can ask me anything you want. I'm here to help and watch over your progress for the next few days. Just follow my instructions and everything will be fine.
Your First Colony
To get you started, simply select Colonies from the top menu, then click on *Colonize New Planet*.
Make sure you give your colony a good name.
Where to get Food From
After your first colony has been created, look for its name in the top menu. Select it and you'll be redirected to Colony View. While working on the infrastructure, your colonists depleted the food supply. Click on the Starbase, build the Harvesting Arrays, and then return here. Food is an important resource; your people depend on it.
Upgrading Structures
Do me a favor: go to Harvesting Arrays and extend the second building to Level 1. This way, you will increase the food production from the current 15 per hour to 32 per hour. To do this, click on Harvesting Arrays, and then click the second structure from the top-left, the Hydroponic Farm. This is called upgrading.

The other Resources
As your colony thrives to become a mighty settlement, you will need other resources as well. Build 1 Refinery, 1 Reactor and 1 Converter from the Starbase. Keep upgrading the structures inside the Harvesting Arrays as needed, in order to ensure the continuous shipment of raw materials. Getting more resources should be your first priority. The Resource Bar tells you not only how much minerals and money you have in your reserve, but also your net income or loss per hour.
Not enough Houses
Please remain calm. As your structures expand or the colony acquires new facilities, the requirement from maintenance - also known as upkeep - also increases. Your Starbase exceeded the optimal personnel required to handle production. Build Housing and then upgrade as necessary. Upkeep is displayed in the top-right corner of the screen, before the Morale percentage.
Map and Location
Click Map in the top menu. Your colony coordinates are located to the right side of the screen, after *Jump to:*. You can supply friends with these coordinates, so that they can easily find you anywhere in the galaxy.
Player Profile
Your colony coordinates are also displayed in your Profile page. Click Profile in the menu at the bottom of the screen. If at any moment you are not satisfied with your colony's name and want to change it, you can do so from there. In the Profile page you can also change your password, e-mail or add a Watcher to your account.
Player Stats
Occasionally, you will need to check on your progress. To verify your position among other players,
simply click Stats in the bottom menu of the screen.
What about Money?
What about them? What did you say? You want to produce money? That's funny! Unlike other resources, money aren't exactly 'produced'. The money, also known as SC (Stellar Credits), are collected from your colonists by means of taxes. Taxes can be modified at the Starbase. However, there's a catch: higher taxes means lowerMorale, which translates into low resource production rates.

This means you will get more money per hour, but your resource production will considerably decrease. Your peoples morale is shown in percentage at the top-right corner of the screen. The morale can be increased later by constructing and extending the Candy Club, which will allow you to raise the taxes up to 160%. Remember, higher taxes cause lower production per hour.
I Want to Build Faster!
Don't we all? If you want to build faster, extend your Starbase.
My Resources won't Increase Anymore!
That's because there's also a limit to how much raw materials a colony can safely storage. You can increase
this limit by building the Hydroponic Pool, and then (for food) and Resource Silos (for the other resources) from the Starbase. To find out about your current storage capacity, hold the mouse cursor over a resource icon. Note: Once the storage capacity has reached the maximum, all production is converted to SC, which will grow indefinitely, even if taxes are set to 0.
Creating new Colonies
You will need a level 20 Starbase and 10 Chronos (colony ships) at your Capital. The Chronos also requires the previous existence of a Hangar Array. When you have everything you need, simply select Colonies from the top menu, then click on *Colonize New Planet*.
Attacking other Colonies
First of all, you need to have starships to attack other colonies, which can be built at a Fighters Bay. To enable any unit, you first need to upgrade its Hit Points, Weapons and Defence to Level 1. Also, keep in mind that different ships require different structures in order to become available (i.e. Battle Pods, Hangar Array). To order an attack, raid or reinforcement, click on your planet and type down the target colony. Also select how many ships you want to carry out your order.
I Need more Protection!
Who doesn't? You can add an Offensive or Defensive bonus to the fleet orbiting a colony by building Turret Battery or S.H.I.E.L.D. Extend them to get more advantage against attacking players. You can also individually upgrade each unit attributes (Hit Points, Weapons and Defence) for enhanced efficiency in combat.
Protecting Resources
If you see that the enemies enthusiasm for your colony continues unabated, I advise you to build a
Deep Core Vault, to protect at least some of your resources from raids. Don't forget to extend it,
so that you can hide more resource from enemies.
What about Alliances?
You need invitations to get onboard. Contact the alliance founder and ask him to send you one. If you are stubborn and want *your own alliance*, build the Embassy and upgrade it to level 3.
Exchanging Resources
To be able to freely exchange resources with other people, you will first need a Marketplace. Resource transportation takes time, so please be patient. Each upgrade of this structure allows you send more
transports at the same time.
What Else?
As you progress through time (and space), building orders will take longer to complete. The Xeno world will continue to spin even when you are offline. I recommend you to occasionally login and check your colony.
Also give your subjects new tasks to do.

planets or wage war for it. While it is relatively easy to be peaceful
with minimal planets as the number of planets grows your empire will
ultimately be the target of other hostile empires trying to attack you
to steal away your planets.

Player Interaction

In this game, clan play is very important as your clan members can
send reinforcements to you and to assist you out in many areas. Being
in a good clan and a bad clan can make a lot of different.

Shattered Galaxy is a massively multiplayer online real-time strategy
(MMORTS) that was released in 2001 by Nexon Inc., now known as KRU
Interactive, after an extensive open beta period. It was published by
TriSynergy in the USA. It combines the attributes of a massive
multiplayer online role-playing game and a real-time strategy game.
Though it had previously won the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the
2001 Independent Games Festival, hosted through the Game Developers
Conference, the game floundered when it was released to retail. The
game was published under the name Tactical Commanders in South Korea,
published by Nexon until December 31, 2005. This game has also been
serviced in Japan, Taiwan, and Germany.

Plot
Shattered Galaxy is set in a post-apocalyptic future. A teleportation
device was found buried on Earth's surface, though scientists were not
able to master its secrets. Various non-living substances were
successfully sent through and retrieved, but when a common rat was
inserted into the portal, it activated the artifact in an unexpected
way: the device immediately teleported itself, as well as all matter
in a 2000 kilometer wide radius around it, to the planet Morgana
Prime. The player is one of the survivors of this incident. The planet
itself was devoid of sentient life, but robotic war machines were
found on its surface, and humans have since learned to control them
telepathically (allowing the humans themselves to stay out of harm's
way). Humans have since expanded to another planet (server) in the
Morgana system, Relic, where wars likewise rage.

General Gameplay
Shattered Galaxy consists of two interrelated and different gameplay
aspects: The RPG side has the player in control of an avatar which can
buy units, upgrades, and special abilities as well as visit other
provinces and buildings such as simulators, HQ's, and Portals to other
planets. It is through this Avatar that the player joins or starts
battles with other players, simply by walking into a province not
controlled by the player's nation. As soon as the avatar enters any
province controlled by an opposing faction battle is comenced and the
"RTS" aspect of gameplay is engaged.

Though described as an MMORTS, Shattered Galaxy's gameplay is closer
in flavor to a real-time tactics game. During battle, instead of
commanding an entire war machine including infrastructure, supplies
and resources, players are given control of a single squad (of 6 to 12
units at time) which they control alongside as many as 20+ teammates.
A persistent reinforcement system allows players on both sides of a
battle to join or retreat at any point up to the last 3 minutes of
each fifteen minute battle. Likewise, battles do not center around the
destruction of the opponent's base or units, but rather around control
points, of which there will be three to five per battle. These "Points
Of Contention" (POCs), represented by dodecagon, are captured by
occupying them for a certain period of time (ranging from 45 to 90
seconds). The consequences of capturing a POC are dependent on the
type of battle involved in, the time left in the battle, and the
number of other POCs currently controlled. A "poccer" is a player or
unit that captures a POC. "Poccing" refers to the actual act of taking
a POC.

Characters
At first, player characters appear to be mere placeholders: the player
is allowed to choose a name, an avatar, and which of three
(essentially identical) nations to become a member of, but there are
no character classes, only four areas in which the player can level up
(the four Divisions of Infantry, Mobile, Aviation and Organic) and
only twenty points to put into four statistics: Tactics, Clout,
Education and Mechanical Aptitude. However, these four statistics are
the heart of the player's battlefield role, and an unofficial
character-class system does exist, revolving primarily around Clout
and Education.

"Clouters," as they are called in game slang, get access to
higher-Marked and more durable units; they make better "poccers,"
being suited to seize a defended POC while under fire. "Eduers," on
the other hand, are given access to stronger weapons, and do a better
job of killing things—for instance, enemy poccers. Because POCs are
the strategic and tactical center of battle, both roles often
specialize to the task; Clouters will forego accessories, extra speed
and even weapons in favor of armor and health, while Eduers disdain
durability for increased mobility and lethality.

"Tacters" were once a class unto themselves. In former versions of the
game, the player with the highest Tactics score was designated "Battle
Commander" and given the ability to accept or reject other players
attempting to join the fight. The Battle Commander's Tactics rating
also determined how many players could fight on his/her team. Thus, a
battle commanded by a Tacter could overwhelm the opponent not only
with a large squad, but with a horde of hand-picked teammates. Today,
Battle Commander status and team size are determined by other factors,
and Tactics merely controls how many units the player can use at one
time: 20 points gives access to one more unit, to a maximum of 120
Tactics and 12 units. Nonetheless, every player is generally
encouraged to invest points in Tactics, as Shattered Galaxy is a game
that values quantity over quality: the individual units owned by a
120-Tactics player may have fewer hit points than a player with 120
Clout, or do less damage per second than a player with 120 Education,
but his squad is undoubtedly stronger on both counts. Also, a larger
squad produces more Experience points for the player, allowing faster
progress. On Morgana Prime, nine units—60 Tactics—are considered the
bare minimum for effective play.

Finally, Mechanical Aptitude (MA) allows the player to cram more
equipment onto their units by increasing the amount of Weight the unit
can support. It is a low-priority stat, and generally receives
left-over points after the player has already reached their chosen
levels of Tactics, Clout and Education.

For players who have ascended to Level 50 or higher in at least one
division, Shattered Galaxy offers a Reincarnation Event once every
three months, in which the player is returned to Level 1 to begin the
climb anew. However, the player receives extra statistic points in
proportion to each level they have gained above 50, and two more total
unit slots in their inventory. Players may Reincarnate as many times
as they want (as of 15 June 2007, at least five players have done so
22 times, the highest so far), but must be a paying member of the game
to do so.

Players who wish to remain on Relic without paying for their
characters have developed a sort of 'supertype' of character above the
clouter/eduer type. These "sys21" character are designed to reach
level 21 in all divisions without touching level 22 in any division.
They have maximum 10 units in each division - taking each unit to the
Relic unit level cap of 25 provides enough XP to reach level 21 in
each division without hitting level 22. The downside to sys21
characters is that they are limited to at most 40 units, and they are
by necessity spread across all divisions, requiring units to be
planned out from 1 to 25 before you start. Also sys21 characters have
4 less points to spend as their division levels 21 instead of 22, but
to play on Relic and have a division at level 22, a pay account is
required. A free account with a division at level 22 is automatically
shifted to Morgana Prime in a period of time- and therein lies the
attraction of sys21 characters.

Units
Though players can only control a maximum of 12 units at a time, they
can own up to 48 plus an additional 2 for each reincarnation. There is
a 100 unit max per hero. Units come in four "divisions": Infantry
(ranging in appearance from humanoid to distinctly robotic, though
they are all bipedal), Mobile (armor, artillery, etc), Aviation
(aircraft) and Organics (native aliens which have been "domesticated"
for use in battle). Units are a permanent fixture for the player; they
gain levels, can be refitted with the latest equipment, can be
upgraded to new and stronger models, and can even be renamed. As such,
they are not lost permanently in battle, but merely "wrecked," and can
be repaired (at insignificant cost at the Factory) once the battle has
ended. In fact, the only way to get rid of a unit permanently is to
sell it back to the Factory.

Units cannot be upgraded to higher "Marks" (faster/more spacious
versions of the same chassis) without sufficient "Unit Quality,"
determined by the unit's level and the player's Clout statistic (see
below). They also cannot access advanced equipment without sufficient
"Tech Level," determined by the unit's level and the player's
Education statistic (again, see below). Units are limited in the
equipment they can carry by the physical abilities of their chassis,
represented by "Weight" and "Space" restrictions; each piece of
equipment adds to both totals, and cannot exceed the displayed
maximums. A unit's Weight total can be expanded via the Mechanical
Aptitude stat (as usual, see below), but Space only increases in
pre-determined amounts via unit upgrades.

Shattered Galaxy has over fifty different kinds of units. They are
specialized in application, by way of Shattered Galaxy's
rock-paper-scissors targeting system: most weapons can hit either
ground units or air units, but not both. ("Versatile" weapons, which
can hit both, are always weaker and are generally disdained by veteran
players.) Thus, a player can only shoot at certain enemies, and only
some of the enemy forces can shoot back. This also creates a
relatively interdependent gaming atmosphere, as players must rely on
their teammates' units to cover their own units' blind spots. (Like
Versatile weapons, squads composed half-and-half of two different
units are frowned upon for their inefficiency.) When the player's
squad is destroyed, the player may select a new one to enter into
battle 30 seconds later; the player may also "retreat" their squad
through a friendly spawn point to select a new one.

Units are the source of Experience Points in Shattered Galaxy. When a
unit levels up, the player receives Experience in that unit's
Division. The Experience gained is proportional to the unit's level
(specifically, the unit's newly-gained level, squared; an Infantry
unit getting to Level 4 from Level 3 will give its owner 16
Experience), and when the player gains a Division Level they are given
one more stat point to assign to one of their four statistics.

PowerRating
The PowerRating system is implemented to give new players a fighting
chance against veteran players who have reincarnated several times.
Each battle have a certain PowerRating capacity for both sides.
Example a battle has taken place in a certain province and can only
hold a maximum PowerRating of 180 on each side, a group of new players
who has maxed their stats have a PowerRating of 10 each, while a group
of veteran players who has reincarnated several times and have more
stat points have PowerRatings of 11 or more each. The group of new
players can fill a maximum of 18 players on their side, while the
Group of veterans could only fill less than 18 players on their side.
This gives the new players an advantage in the number of players they
have on their side in the battle.

Battles
Battles in Shattered Galaxy revolve around controlling the
battleground's Points of Contention (POCs). Generally, the offensive
team wins immediately if they manage to seize all POCs. If the game's
built-in 15-minute time limit is exhausted, the winner is decided by
the team who controls the most POCs at the end, with ties going to the
defenders. Since capturing and defending the POC is the main
objective, most units are specifically designed for these roles.
However, support units like carpet bombers, radar jammers, mine-laying
sappers, infantry with nuke stopping shields, and soldiers with
paralyzing weaponry can also contribute to the outcome of the battle.
Some unit abilities include cloaking abilities so that enemies cannot
see and attack them well, anti-gravity harness to leave no footprints
and not get affected by mines, and emp which reduces others unit's
energy. Battles can involve twenty or more people to a side. The
battle power of each player is not heavily dependent on his/her
current character level or the level of units he puts into play. A
veteran player with good mastery of battle tactics with a low
PowerRating can easily defeat disorganized high PowerRating opponents,
in other words battle awareness is key to winning battles, not levels.
Being a good player is more than just stats and units. Communication
and teamwork are crucial to success. A "regiment" system had been
implemented, allowing players to band together and guarantee
themselves a supply of dependable teammates, and it is now the
standard of judgment when Reconstructions (faction balancing) occur.

POC and battle rules
There are four basic rulesets relating to the POCs: All or Nothing,
Standard, Standard Enhanced, and Victory.

All or Nothing: The attacking side must take all of the POC's and have
them in their possession for them to win. The opposing side simply has
to keep minimum one POC all the time. Maps of this nature used to
involve only 1 POC, but today they involve 3 clustered together.

Standard: the attacking side has to hold a majority of POCs at 0:00 or
capture all POCs to win. The defending side must have at least half
the POCs to win. Capturing a POC typically requires it be occupied for
60 seconds by units of a faction.

Standard Enhanced are similar to Standard maps except that the
attacking side must hold at least one POC by 10:00 and must continue
to hold at least one POC throughout the whole battle. If at any time
after 10:00 the attacking side has no POCs, the battle is
automatically forfeited and the defending side wins.

Victory maps are the most difficult maps to fight on but also the most
widely used by regiments because there is no advantage to the
defending side. Each side starts with 800 points and attempts to
whittle the opposing side's score down to 0. Points are rewarded for
players joining into the battle, while points are taken away for units
dying or for not holding a majority of the POCs. If at any time either
side has no units in battle, that side instantly mass retreats from
the battle. In victory maps, once one side has retreated, the points
will drop at a rate of 50 per second until 0, where the remaining side
wins. If the remaining side are the attackers, they need to capture
all the pocs for the points to drop 50 per second.

Other activities
Caving
Caving is a term in Shattered Galaxy for going into alien caves in
order to fight and gain experience points. There are caves in every
map. Caves 1 and 2 are in every capital whereas there are caves 1, 2
and 3 in other maps. Most caving is done on Relic fraction capitals
cave 1, where the aliens consist of weak slursts and larvas. As the
caves on Morgana Prime are famous for their tough difficulty level,
caving is usually considered a waste of time. Also caving gives very
little expirience compared to fighting. Therefore, people recommend
fighting a battle against other users rather than caving. Caves
further from the capital have stronger aliens. A cave battle is
similar to a normal battle but with only 1 POC, aliens instead of
enemy factions, 2 minute poc time instead of one and 20 minutes battle
time. Experience received in caves is based on how long a player waits
before POCcing (slang for capturing a Point of Contention).

Mercing
Mercing is a term that refers to mercenaries within the game. People
can choose to become mercenaries for the 10% experience bonus and
fight for the faction that has less online players. This is imposible
if one is currently in a regiment. Mercing serves as a more efficient
way of leveling especially for those 'Lone Wolves'.

Resources
Money the standard currency for all 3 factions, this is the resource
that most Basic Heroes and Elite Heroes will use the most. From buying
new units, repairing damaged or destroyed units, to equipping new
equipment, all this needs money. In the past, it was entirely possible
to actually run out of money if the player loses too many battles. Now
KRU has revamped the system, so it is almost impossible to run out of
money as long as you keep battling, which can be a good or bad thing.

Uranium currently the only other resource being utilized. This is the
resource Elite Heroes use to buy Gold Weapons. Typically Gold Weapons
have better statistics than their normal counterparts, so serious
paying players often equip gold weapons on their endgame units to
squeeze out that extra damage to have an edge over their enemies.
Basic Heroes cannot use Uranium to outfit their weapons but can stock
uranium, so they can use it later when they pay. Uranium is not given
out after battles, it is only given out after the Faction completes
its War Meter. The amount of uranium received is 3*X where X is your
Power Rating. So having a Power Rating of 10 gives you 30 uranium
after the War meter is complete. All players regardless of Basic
Heroes or Elite Heroes will get Uranium once the War Meter completes.
Elite Heroes can also get a daily uranium tribute once every 24 hours.
The amount of daily uranium one gets per day is X/3 where X is the
Power Rating. Basic Heroes cannot get daily uranium. Uranium also
enables one to get access to rare units. With 200 uranium, one can buy
wights from the units factory and with 800 uranium, one can buy Quorg
from the units factory. You can also create a regiment using 200
uranium and heal all your units without going to the factory with 2 or
3 uranium.

Sulfur, Ore, and Silicon were the other resources in the game, removed
from gameplay long ago, with no current use or means of obtaining
them. These resources, as well as uranium, were as plentiful as money
in the past and were used in combination to buy equipment for the
player's units.

Planets
Currently, there are only two planets active in Shattered Galaxy:
Morgana Prime and Relic.

■The planet Relic is where new characters are created, it is known as
the "training planet". For many new players this is a good experience,
as the level cap for all divisions (Inf,Mob,Avi,Org) is 22, allowing
players to face reasonable odds when they begin. When a Basic
Character reaches level 22 in any division, they are automatically
transferred to Morgana Prime. Paid Characters may stay on Relic with
level 22 in all divisions. Players of Basic Characters have found a
workaround to this with "sys21" characters.
■Morgana Prime is the primary planet in the current Shattered Galaxy
universe. This planet serves as the playground for all players who no
longer belong on Relic, offering them every unit, piece of equipment
or character design available in the game. A big gameplay difference
between Relic and Morgana Prime is the incentive offered to Morgana
Prime players in the form of "Reincarnations", an event during which a
player may re-level his character from level 1, only with bonus points
to distribute on character attributes based on the levels of the
character prior to the reincarnation. Players are able to reincarnate
as many times as they like, theoretically allowing for any number of
attribute points, but this notion is kept in check with the "Power
Rating" system according to which the number of players a faction can
reinforce into battle is dependent on how many points its players
individually boast. Thanks to this concept, it has been a long
accepted fact that battles on Morgana Prime are, mathematically
speaking, equitable and competitive.

Service
As of September 29, 2008 the game can be played using a basic account
at no charge with a few minor handicaps or upgraded to an elite
account at a cost of $9.95 USD per month to play with all limitations
removed.

Nexon has closed Tactical Commanders' service in Korea, Japan, and
Taiwan. As of October 31, 2008, the German service was closed due to
lack of players.[1]

No further major gameplay updates from KRU Interactive are expected.
Minor support for the game continues with sporadic "Double XP" weekend
events, quarterly "Reincarnation" events, and a yearly Summer
Tournament.
